The Assembly
Cushion Element
For the Infant side of the mattress, we take 65 ILD foam (65 ILD foam is very stiff), and cut out approximately 1 1/8" square (allowances are included for air channels) cushion elements. For the Toddler side of the mattress, we take 35 ILD foam (35 ILD foam is medium to stiff), and cut out approximately 1 1/8" square (allowances are included for air channels) cushion elements. The foam is a high-density hybrid foam, optimized for our patented "Baby Cushion Pocket Spring" technology.
Pocket Spring
We take one infant cushion element, and one toddler cushion element, and attach each element to the opposite sides of a "Micro Coil Pocket Spring". This spring is made of .030" high carbon steel pocketed coil spring to create our patented "Baby Cushion Pocket Spring", better known as the "Tiny Baby Mattress".
"Tiny Baby Mattress" Technology
Finally, we combine roughly 700 of these "Tiny Baby Mattresses" (approximately 1,000 in a standard mattress & 600 in a Mini Mattress) to create a mattress that reduces excessive pressure on infant's skulls. The mattress also has increased airflow & breathability and maintains proper spine alignment and increased comfort for toddlers.

Air channels are engineered into every mattress cover and mattress core. These channels allow air to freely flow through the mattress, allowing for increased breathability, and increased airflow which allows your baby to better regulate their temperature.
