Step aside fellas, March is dedicated to the phenomenal women in our lives. The month of March is all about celebrating women’s history, so make sure to empower and embrace the lovely ladies who make a difference in our lives every day.
Now, even though we can’t cram all the achievements of women in one month, we can at least spend the entire month (and every month after) showing our appreciation for their contributions throughout history. This month make sure you say thank you, to the women in your life and remind them of how much they are appreciated.
This Women’s History Month we’re highlighting our favorite Ninjababe, Cara Poalillo! She is not only a Ninja Warrior that kicks butt, she is also the founder of Ninjababes! If you haven’t heard of this amazing movement, let me be the first to introduce you. Ninjababes is an empowering community that uplifts and embraces female ninja warriors. Ninjababes challenges women ninja athletes to step outside of fear and into new possibilities, so that they may find the strength and courage within themselves.
Cara Poalillo began training for American Ninja Warrior in 2016 and competed in season 10 of the hit Athletic competition. In her journey, she met 4 phenomenal women who encouraged and uplifted Cara through her training process. Through their training and correspondence, the 5 women referred to each other as Ninjababes, and that supportive community made Cara want to expand that energy to a global level, and thus Ninjababes was born.
We are blown away by Cara’s strength and her passion for other women. She truly embodies the courage and essence of a Ninjababes! She has been training vigorously for the next season of American Ninja Warriors and will hopefully start competing in the trial rounds soon. So, wish our favorite Ninja Warrior Goodluck! We know you're amazing, now it's time to go show the world what a Ninjababe can really do!
